I've stated before that I sell Premier Designs jewelry. I've been doing that for years now and I love it. When I first started I had just become a single mom and it was what kept me sane, got me out of the house on the weekends that Miss H was with her dad. It made me feel like I was still Sarah even though I was now a single mom out doing it all on my own.
Prior to being a "jewelry lady" I was not a jewelry/accessory person. I liked them on other people but just didn't know what the heck I was doing when I tried stuff on, I didn't know what went with what and so on. I was your typical Mid-West girl, tshirt and jeans kind of girl. How I got into jewelry still makes me wonder sometimes and I'm sure a few of my friends or people from high school are shocked but over the years I've learned how to do it and it's something I've become passionate about.
Yes I make money when I sell jewelry but that to me isn't the point, the point is I teach women how they already have an awesome wardrobe in their closet, they just don't know it yet. I love teaching women how to take the "boring" clothes they already have and how to make it come to life and how to feel confident again in what they are wearing. That's one thing about myself that I'm proud of, that even though I was (am still) overweight, I've never not looked nice because I buy the right clothes and accessorize them up to look like I've got it all together, which I don't trust me but it's great that I can do that!
So starting each week I'm going to teach YOU how to do it as well. Just to give you a little teaser in case your doubting me that accessories don't make a difference THEY DO! TRUST ME! For all you runners out there that are hard core...it's just like a great pair of tennis shoes, they MAKE or BREAK your run. Same thing for accessories!
This is just a real quick comparison and I couldn't get the distance to be the same in the picture for some reason but you get the idea hopefully. Can you see the difference? I think I look tired in my picture where I have no accessories on.
So check back each Friday for more lessons on accessories!
